Eden od utemeljiteljev bristolskega "trip-hop" zvoka končno v Ljubljani! Po "come back" albumih Portisheadov in Massive Attack-a, se vrača še najbolj temačni in intrigantni del te Bristolske svete trojice.
Tricky prihaja v okviru evropske turneje ob izidu novega albuma "Mixed Race", ki je ta teden izšel pri založbi Domino Records (Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys, Animal Collective,...).

"Mixed Race is a gangster album. I can’t do gangsta rap. That’s not me. I can’t talk about being a bad boy, ‘cos I’m not. But I’ve been around that. So this is the closest I can get to a gangsta album. It’s very “gully”, as Jamaicans call it… very dark. Tense, street and urban. It’s like a movie, almost. This is also the most uptempo album I’ve done. I wanted something that could be played in a club… maybe! Which is unusual for me. Because I don’t give a shit about clubs."
Hkrati letos mineva 15 let od izida legendarnega prvenca Maxinquaye, ki se je prebil na 3. Mesto angleške lestvice, bil nominiran za nagrado Mercury in bil izglasovan za album leta pri reviji NME. Kot se spodobi za eno od ključnih glasbenih stvaritev 90tih- bo program koncerta repertoarju s tega albuma dal ustrezen poudarek!.
