Organizers expect more than 12 000 visitors to attend this 2 DAY event in June which has already been branded the KICK OFF PARTY of the SUMMER.

Zagreb,1stMarch 2011 – UMAGINATION brings two great musicians to the ATP stadium venue in Umag: on Friday, June 3rdCroatian crowd favorite Tiëstowill electrify the MAIN STAGE with a CONCERT PERFORMANCE from the CLUB LIFE TOUR featuring FULL PRODUCTION and EFFECTS. On Saturday, June 4th the KING of ROCK - REV. RUN of Run-DMC will confirm why he has been one of the most influential performers of HIP HOP music.

Last year’s UMAGINATION brought Fatboy Slim to Croatia for the first time and tickets for ATP stadium were sold out 18 days before the event. First Croatian gig of the king of electro beat was enjoyed by over 5 000 fans. Motivated by this success, this year’s UMAGINATION brings a two day program from Friday, June 3rdto June 4thfeaturing lineups fromleading global performers, combined with never seen before activities and entertainment for all attendees. At the same time, Umagwill host the first regional music conference Adria Music Conference that gathers the music industry from the entire region. People who love and breathe music will have the opportunity to learn, see and hear the latest in music.Umag will truly be the leading destination for music lovers from June 2ndto the 5thproviding all fans something to experience during this exciting event.

Recently Tiësto won the title of best DJ of ALL TIMES thanks to the largest number of votes by Mixmag magazine readers. Dutch DJ and PRODUCER Tiësto performs all over the world and produces and remixes for many of the world’s leading artists. He has remixed for (Muse, Justin Timberlake, The Killers, BUSTA RHYMES) creating music that have become massive global hits and on leading music charts. He recorded “Who wants to be alone“, single to announce his last album Kaleidoscope, in cooperation with Nelly Furtado. He is also globally recognized as the first DJ to perform for over 90-minutes for official opening of the Olympics in Athens in 2004. To this day this is one of his most memorable and remarkable gigs where he composed music especially for that occasion.

Rev. Run, lead vocal of the legendary hip hop band Run-DMC, comes to Croatia for the first time where he will be performing his legendary hip hop hits among a few rare appearances planned for Europe in 2011. RUN DMC started their music path with the first single “It's like that“ in 1983 and their musical influence is still visible in the work of current hip hop stars.The hit “WALK THIS WAY” changed the perception of HIP HOP music and made this genre popular among all in the 80’s. The most prominent between many music awards are MTV award for the best hip hop band of all times in 2007 and entering the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009. After band stopped working Rev. Run continued a successful solo career and is a star of MTV TV showRUN’S HOUSE.

UMAGINATION plans to be bigger and better in 2011 and will offer attractively priced packages to all visitors.
