BENGA, SKAZI, Oliver Koletzki DJ-Set & Co. live at the Beatpatrol Festival


How did comedy star OTTO phrase it a couple of years ago? “I still have one more!”. One? Never! The Beatpatrol Festival powered by Raiffeisenclub, taking place from July 22-24 at the VAZ area, has to offer even more iconic acts. This time, we have something that will especially please the D’n’B, Minimal and Goa fans.


The D’n’B stage for example will this year be hosted by one of the most important D’n’B labels in the business, Shimons Audioporn Records. The Eristoff Tracks Audioporn Stagewill now feature even more acts: Ed Rush, Dirtyphonics live and others who have already been announced will be joined by Danny Bird, The Harry Shotta Show Live(premiere in Austria), Mindscpe, BTK, Xilent, High MaintenanceundCounterstrike. The performance by British DJ BENGAwill be a special highlight. After remaining in the background as a producer for stars like Rhianna, he is now storming the charts in UK and EU with hits like “Katy on a mission” as part of the collective Magentic Man.


TheSamsara stagewill be focusing on Goa. Acts include, among others, Bliss,Tryambakaand Skazi. Skazi, the Israeli Trance band with cult factor, was THE surprise act with their live performance at the 2009 Beatpatrol.


We can also announce news from the Dimmak Stage, where Felix Cartal, known as leader of the Heavy House genre, could be won for a performance. Cartal has already worked with big names such as Steve Aoki, Vitalic, Felix da Housecat, Richie Hawtin and many more and is loved both by fans and fellow artists for his intensity.


On the Viermalvier Stage, big players like Format:B, who had their breakthrough with their album “Steam Circuit” in 2008, newcomers Luna City Expressand as a very special goodie, Oliver Koletzkiwith a DJ set. This means that the artist will not only be present at Beatpatrol 2011 with his live project “The Koletzkis”, but also at the turntables.


PREPARTY & AFTER FESTIVAL PARTY

All Beatpatrol followers should mark the „framework“ around the festival in their calendars. The festival basically starts already onJuly 21, with the Beatpatrol PREPARTY at Warehouse (VAZ St. Poelten), and on July 24, after the doors of the festival have closed for another year, the party goes on at Ratzersdorfer See near LASERTRONwith the Beatpatrol AFTER PARTY. We are still working on the line up!
