PLEASURE ISLAND - 14 HOURS FUN WITH THE BEST ELECTRONIC DANCE MUSIC
We probably all know that Saturday 27.8.11 from 16.00 hr till 06.00 hr. the Pleasure Island Festival will take place at the airport of Roudnice Nad Labem. At the Pleasure Island festival you can’t only listening and dancing to the best electronic dance music but there is much more for you to experience to be sure you can have a whole day of fun together with your friends. In the paragraph’s below you can read in a short overview what you can expect Saturday 27.8.11 at the Pleasure Island Festival in Roudnice Nad Labem.
Area:
The Festival will be set up in an area of 225 mtr. by 125 mtr. from which 20.000 m2 will be in use for the 9 stages and all the other activities. For the open-air Main stage is in use an area around 3600m2 and for the open-air Hard style stage is in use an area around 1200m2. The other 7 stages you can find in tents. For the techno area will be used a huge tent in the size of 50mtr x45mtr (2.250m2), for the Trance area will be used a huge tent with the size of 60mtr x 30mtr (1.800m2), for the Evropa2 area will be used a huge tent with the size of 45mtr x 30mtr (1.350m2) and for the 4 local stages are in use tents with a size of 15 mtr x 10 mtr (600m2).
Chill out Terrace:
In the centre of the area will be a huge chill out terrace of 400 m2 full with seats and tables Everybody has free access to the terrace and it is the ideal place to take a short break from the action and to refuel your self.
VIP Terrace:
Between the chill out terrace and main stage will be the VIP terrace (300m2) The VIP terrace has not only a fantastic view on the main stage but has also a fantastic view over the complete festival. The VIP terrace has it’s own seats with tables (free for everybody with a VIP ticket), bars and toilets.
Indian Village:
You can also look forward to the Indian village, a place with several tepees in area of 400m2. Among other things you can buy sausages and roast them at a central fireplace and there will be a “sharp workshop” and fire show held by Ohnivci z Varù. In one of the tepees there will be oriental tearoom as a place of peace and to rest. In the village you can also make a portrait or caricature of yourself by Vladimír Valenta, who is among the top contemporary painters and is a fourfold winner of the "Body Art Awards" (Championship) in body painting. If you have answered questions you can ask the fortuneteller witch Eva Agia. In the village you can also get a wonderful shimmering tattoos to your choice and you can go to the Thai massage from Planet Zen, which will definitely cheer you up during this fourteen-hour dance experience.
If you want to give your adrenaline a boost at Pleasure Island , that’s also possible and you will have many choices to do so. There will be ready for you:
Bungee kattapult - a special area where you can shoot your self into the air and can experience weightlessness and overloading forces up to 3 G.
Aerotrim simulator – a special area where a device composed out of three concentric circles that allows movement within the circle on three axes to simulate weightlessness and induces a feeling of disorientation in space with an overload of forces up to 4 G.
Centrifuga – If you like speed the centrifuga will be the place to be. In total 16 cabins on a huge wheel will turn around at high speed an will bring you up to 18 meters height in a angle of 88 degrees with an overload on forces up to 1.5 G.
Market:
On the Festival area will be also a marketplace where you can buy candy, sunglasses, shirts, light sticks and various other small gadgets.
Heliport:
You have the chance to win a helicopter flight through one of the partners of the festival “Amundzen Vodka” that will takes you and your friends on a sightseeing flight over the Roudnice airfield and festival.
Axe beach:
If you would like to take a shower after all the excitement, the AXE beach zone is the place to be where beautiful AXE Angels will shower and soap you in.
Baccardi Chill out:
If you would like to lay down for a while on a bed in the sun, the Baccardi chill out with the two Bacardi cocktail bars is the place to be. Sunbeds will be ready for you to lay down and relax.
5 Pulse:
If you want to cool down, the 5 pulse area is the place to go to. A futuristic machine will blow you all the cool air you need and will stream as much cool fog as you like.
Bars:
Through out the area you will find everywhere bars with a wide assortment on drinks. Each particular area has it’s own bars so you never have to walk far to get your refreshment.
Food:
Around chill out terrace you will find refreshment stands where you can find a wide selection of quality food dishes, including vegetarian meals.
Tokens:
The payments on the festival have to be done with tokens. The token sale points are opposite the entrance and next to the main stage. The price for 1 token is 40CZK and a half token is 20 CZK.
Toilets:
There will be 2 huge toilet area’s with a sufficient amount of toilets located next to the entrance. We will try to keep the toilets as clean as possible but it should be much appreciated if everybody tries to keep them also as clean as possible.
Waste bins:
Through out the area will be placed a sufficient amount of waste bins. It would be much appreciated if everybody will take the effort to threw his garbage in the waste bins to keep the surrounding as clean as possible.
Lockers:
Next to the entrance will be the locker tent where you can hide your things if you feel the need to do so. The price for it is 30 CZK. You will be able to leave your things in the cloakroom without having to worry about them and enjoy the festival the fullest without worries. The cloakroom room will also serve as a place for lost and found things.
First aid:
In case of emergency there will be a first aid service at the festival to support you.
Camping:
There will be available a tent camp from the 26th of August 16:00 hr. till the 28th of August 18:00 hr. It will not be possible to rent a tent so the tent camp is for those who have and come with their own tent. The price for one night will be 50 CZK (2 EUR) per one tent and 50 CZK (2 EUR) per person. At the tent camp you will also find toilets, a shower and refreshments.
Shutle service from PRG-RNL-PRG:
There will be available a shuttle service from Prague 7 Holesovice to the Fstival area and back. Soon you will be able to purchase tickets through www.ticketpro.cz for this service. There will be also a shuttle service available, which will run from the train and bus station to the Festival area.
