An invitation to do a producers profile mix on BBC Radio proves yet again that ANGEL Anx as a DJ and producer continues to deliver cutting edge production to listeners seeking quality electronic music.
His 2005 project with Aleksij ‘Fatal Song’ was released on Cr2 records, and supported by X-Press2, Paolo Martini, Dj Chus to name but a few. The single appeared on United Nations of House compilation series alongside names like Eric Prydz, Tiefschwarz, Sander Klainenberg, Steve Angello, Danny Howells. And in 2006 Pacha and Def Mix released their Winter Sessions vol.4, an inspiring collection mixed by Hector Romero & Juan Diaz who didn’t hesitate to include ‘Fatal Song’ on it also.
Soon after came the awesome ‘Don't Loose Yourself/E-Abduction EP’ on Wax Habit Recordings, followed by an explosion of original production and remixes. ANGEL & Aleksij’s remix of Chus & Penn’s ‘We Play House’ was supported by Deep Dish, Desyn Masielo, and his mix of Def-E ‘Ape Stalking’ was featured on Pure Pacha mixed by Pete Tong & Sarah Main.
Their next track ‘Blow’ appeared on the outstanding Leaders Of The New School EP series from Toolroom Trax with the video reaching third place in the MTV-Adria Dance floor chart.
By summer 2007 his solo single ‘Love Strings’ was making noise all over Ibiza, and the world! With support from The Shapeshifters, Bodyrox and Tom De Neff amongst others, the track appeared on a Ministry of Sound compilation mixed by Fedde le Grand & Chrissi D.
His next outing, the ‘Copy Rat/Diesel Shower EP’ was playlisted by BBC Radio 1 for three weeks and appeared on both ‘Azuli pres. D.Ramirez’ and ‘In Bed With Space’ compilations.
ANGEL Anx has been scheming for years about starting his very own label, waiting for just the right moment to unleash his master plan. "TESTED RECORDS" releases were played on BBC Radio 1 and supported by all the major players around the world. This label will be a home to ANGEL Anx eclectic musical collaborations as well as a place where producers we admire will have the freedom to release music they might not be able to, or want to, release on other labels.
