Kolektiv Reload, ki se je s serijo klubskih zabav in festivalov na Severnem Primorskem utrdil kot eden od motorjev domače tehnoscene, nadaljuje s svojim poslanstvom. Joseph Capriati, ki prihaja v klub Marco Polo v Novi Gorici 27. novembra, je eno najbolj vročih imen žanra, letos se je iz vzpenjajočega se artista dokončno prebil med nosilce vodilnih tehnofestivalov, kot so Awakenings, Tomorrowland in Monegros, nastopil pa bo tudi na naslednjem Timewarpu. Njegovi seti so prepojeni z značilnim neapeljskim zvokom, ki se odlično povezuje tudi z izročilom Beyerjevega Drumcoda pri katerem velja za enega glavnih artistov v tem trenutku.

We heard about your new album coming out on Drumcode in 2013. Can you tell us something more about this and are we going to hear some material from the upcoming album on November 24th at Marco Polo?
Yes, the title of the album will be ‘Self Portrait’ and it will be released in early April 2013 but first there will be a single in February. Most of the tracks are now finished and I am testing a few of them in my sets at the moment so some people will have already heard some of them but I am sure you will hear these when I come to Marco Polo as I am very proud of the new tracks and they are amongst the biggest tracks that I am playing right now.
Have you ever think to start your own label? If yes/no why?
Starting my own label is not something which I am considering right now. I am signed to Drumcode and I consider them to be the best techno label ever so I am very happy to have them as the home for my music. I have been a fan of the label and of Adam Beyer ever since I started to listen to techno in the late 1990’s and so grew up with the Drumcode sound and this has been very important to me.
You already played few times in Slovenia. What were your impressions ?
I have always enjoyed the gigs I have played in Slovenia and I always look forward to coming back. I am a very passionate guy and I love techno music. When I come to Slovenia I see many people that feel the same way in the crowd and so I really feel at home here. As a DJ it makes a bug difference if you are playing to a crowd who are passionate about the music and responsive to what you are playing. I know I am going to enjoy this gig because the people will be make a special atmosphere in the club and that is what makes the party work.
On November 24th you will play a special 4 hours set. How do you built your sets when you play longer ?
I really enjoy playing extended sets as it allows me to create exactly the kind of atmosphere that I want to bring to the party. With a four hour set you can expect there to be a few different parts to the musical journey with some more funky or tech house tracks at the start followed by melodic tracks and then some really energetic tracks towards the end. I like to create a trip for the people to follow so expect to be taken on a musical ride!
What is your message to the people who are waiting your performance at Marco Polo?
Thank you for bringing your special energy and passion to the party! I am really looking forward to being back at Marco Polo and to sharing what I am sure will be an amazing party with you all.
