The news of "Electronic Hurricane" is spreading like wildfire among techno fans and it is topic number one long before its arrival. The musical whirlwind will reach Vienna on 15.02.2014 and will be sure to shake up the Budocenter until the small hours. On board: DJ RUSH, Sasha Carassi, Johannes Heil and many more!

Attention all techno fans! – "Electronic Hurricane" goes Vienna and guarantees 100% techno and party! Right at the start of its existence the event agency with the same name brings a breath of fresh air into the Vienna techno scene and brings a grand night with incomparable acts! DJ RUSH, an institution of techno music, was won as main act, Sasha Carassi persuades with an incredible exclusive set after long absence, and Johannes Heil promises Frankfurt techno of the highest order. They are supported by none other than A-Brothers and Nicholas Bacher.

DJ RUSH
For years DJ RUSH is counted among on of the big players in the international techno scene, and hardly anyone else can hold a candle to Mister "Motherfucking Bass" Major Rush. With his stage presence alone the American makes his fans go wild and an extraordinary performance is also guaranteed for Vienna. Already years ago, "Groove" magazine chose him as best international DJ, and on 15 February DJ RUSH will deliver his 2-hour power set bursting with energy and change the Budocenter into a seething cauldron – Get On Up!

Sasha Carassi
It is with good reason that Sasha Carassi is called on of the most talented producers in the music industry and a Top DJ of the techno scene! There is not much left to be said about the sound, because his dark, driving and relentless, rolling techno sets immediately pull you into a bass-driven hypnotic trance that could not be more compelling. After a long absence Sasha Carassi will be sure to deliver a unique performance exclusively at the Electronic Hurricane.

Johannes Heil
Johannes Heil's qualities as live act are greatly impressive and his sets are incomparable. Approximately 17 years after his first release and many thousands stacks of vinyls and traveler miles later, buzzing and distorted loops have become his trademark and breakbeat or ambient sequences have been integrated into his work. On 15.02.2014, the German producer and live act invites fans to join him in a musical journey to the origins of electronic dance music between Modern Detroit, Hightech Soul and House – Frankfurt techno at its best! pjk

DJ RUSH, SASHA CARASSI and JOHANNES HEIL hit exactly the right mix with sufficient zest, beyond music that sounds like it was produced using standard software after a filtered pattern and fulfilling the criterion of being suitable for the masses. Here, beat is king as well as what you can call "highly qualitative techno" with a good conscience.
In addition, a tremendous sound and light concept was developed: Funktion One Infrabass together with a special stage including laser, LED and innovative Sharpy Moving Systems.
