Dubbed the ‘new Ibiza’, the Papaya Club will play host to The Papaya Day & Night Festival featuring exclusive sets from Paul Van Dyk, Sharam from Deep Dish, Groove Armada, The Freemasons and Barbara Tucker; The Tuborg Green Beat Festival with Eric Prydz, The Swedish House Mafia, Toolroom Knights featuring Mark Knight & Dirty South and Pete Tong, as well as many one off huge parties with DJs such as Armin Van Buuren and Chris Lake. There are also rumblings that Tiesto will be gracing the decks soon too…
Papaya club is open every day from 10am till 7am and is situated on the famous Zræe beach, which is 50 miles to the nearest Airport Zadar and is Croatia´s hotspot for party holidays. With 4 different clubs, 24hr entertainment, beach parties everyday and thousands of beautiful people flocking to the beach its not wonder that Beach Zræe has earned its reputation for the place to be in Croatia.
Club Papaya spreads over 32,000 sq ft, divided into six terraces, all themed around nature. Whatever your mood, there will be a place to suit it; whether it be in the VIP room, or on the dance floor. All can be enjoyed in the refreshing summer breeze enriched with a scent of sea salt.
In the daytime, you can relax with a drink at one of the bars, pools or Jacuzzi, or for you thrill-seekers out there, dare to go on an adrenalin dive down the slide - rising from the club and into the pool. The infamous After-Beach parties all start at 4pm, where everyone dances whilst listening to the very best sexy house music. In the evening, you can dance till the early hours of the morning under the starry night, surrounded by azure blue pools, until the sun comes up. You really will fall in love with this gorgeous, hedonistic island.
The summer season will open on June 19th with Papaya’s traditional ‘Weekend BBQ’. Each guest will receive the 5th Papaya Day & Night Compilation which features a host of artists that come to play on the island and will also be available to purchase at www.papaya.com.hr and http://www.djdownload.net The organisers have been working furiously to provide their guests with an experience they won’t forget… with magical lighting systems, and music construction that would sit well at any major festival.
The Papaya Day & Night Festival will kick off on July 15th with the legendary Paul Van Dyk who will be playing an exclusive show. On the 16th Groove Armada will step up to the plate, wreaking havoc with their unpredictable sets. The 17th welcomes Deep Dish’s Sharam, and the festival closes traditionally with The Freemasons on the 18th for their After Beach Party. As part of tradition, local Croatian duo PlayOne will give their second joint performance with Barbara Tucker which also doubles up as the CD launch of their Papaya Day & Night Vol. 5 Music Compilation.
The Tuborg Green Beat Festival kicks of on the 12th August with those naughty Swedish House Mafia Boys which consists of Steve Angello, Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso. Picking up the baton is fellow Swede Eric Prydz on the 13th. The legendary Toolroom Knights take over on the 14th with Mark Knight & Dirty South, finishing up with Radio 1 legend Pete Tong on the 15th.
