Biografija
ALEX M.(aka ALEXANDER MADNESS), born in Koper in 1978 is one of four members of
the slovenian FLUX team. Already as a child he always liked to stand in front
of music-thindering speakers, so it was quite obvious, that music will be the
main motivation in his life.Before he got familiar with electronic music, he
was listening to rock, pop and all the other genres that are usually popular
among the youth.
He got to feel the magic of electronic music in 1996, when sounds of fast
hardcore hit his ears. Because that kind of music was rare at that time, he
soon transferred to slower rythms of chemical progressive. After years of
friendship with today very well known DJ Ian F, they both decided to try and
make a DJ career. In 1998 AM first stepped behind the decks and immediatly felt
the connection, still lasting. Beginnigs were not easy. First gigs were played
at local bars and private parties. But his technique evolved within years as
did his passion for the music. In the past years he was switching from one
e-genre to another until he really got into techno, which he still prefers. He
plays mostly funky techno but in his DJ case you'll also find breakbeat and
electro trax, that he always includes into his sets. AM started anothet project
under the name Alex M. There he plays electro/house and trance music that is
very pleasant to hear.
In SLO he has been playing in all the major and recognized clubs, such as
Ambasada Gavioli, Lipa, SubSub, K4, Netopir, The Club, Playtime, Forest,
Tivoli, Arcade,Culture club and with names like Valentino Kanzyani,Richard
Bartz,Len Faki,Bryan Cox,Oxia,Joris Voorn,Matthew Dekay,Seamus Haji,Danilo
Vigorito,Ade Fanton,Paul Hazendonk,Petar Dundov,Jamie Bissmire and many more.
He participated also on Final Flash,Born to be Wild and Sound Of Summer events.
AM is also working together with SAMODAJEFEŠTA crew, which organizes very
popular e-music events on the slovenian coast and THE NEW GENERATION team, wich
organizes e-music events all around the world.Already his first gig for the TNG
team is in the beautiful Mexico.
He aims high and as written in the biography "beginnings were not easy..", but
it is already obvious, after all these years, that e-music is the thing that
keeps him going.
