Paolo Barbato lives for music since1984 when he won the aclaimed «DJ Competition» prize and from that time he continued to wow crowds playing his typical house sounds.
After all this years, his complete love for music remains the same, that's the feeling you receive through his work. His special taste for what «it is» and what «is not» is reflecting all around his sounds, his production and the events he's co-ordinating and promoting. His studio works are issued through labels as Warner,Universal, Crystal and Global Underground. He has maintained his longstanding presence in the house scene, playing from the small local clubs to the Europe's most prestigious dj-booths, Sharm el Sheikh's Pacha, just to mention one of them.
He recently took part to the Ramirez Live Project, a joint-venture generated between analog synths and warm basses. The superstar dj Tommy Vee already asked him for remixes and a full-length album is soon to be finished. In collaboration with acclaimed artists as the percussionist Silvano del Gado or the violinist Simone d'Eusanio, he takes all around in the clubs a two hours live/dj set for a two-piece orchestra, an explosive mix of natural and synthetic rhythms.
And last but not least is the collaboration started at the beginning of 2008 with various international musicians and singers, producing high quality sounds and characteristic videos that will probably place him on top of global dance scene, in fact, he is often hosted by radios as Proton (Texas - U.S.A.), Ministry of Sound (U.K.) and with his "Fuel Your Life" video he has been for weeks on the 4th place of MTV's Dance Floor Chart.
«I will continue to share my passion for music with people through my dj-ing and through my music projects» - he says - «'cause that's the reason why I became a dj».- So we can expect some more quality music from Paolo Barbato and hope he will never stop surprising us with his dj-ing
