East London's notorious DJ/producer, Trailer Trash resident and self-confessed 'bass junkie' Hannah Holland has gone global. Last year a mini tour of Berlin with her pioneering Bastard Batty Bass night - with partners in crime MC Chikaboo and Mama Shamone - Space in Ibiza, TDK, Field Day Festival in London and Exit festival in Serbia to a crowd of 20,000 sharing a bill with legend Frankie Knuckles were just a few highlights.

She continues to tear it up across the capital, while taking her signature dirty, bass heavy, jackin electro, tech house, breaks sound to new dancefloors, having joined the ranks of Decked Out, home to Switch, Carl Craig and Erol Alkan.

After scoring a DJ-download chart No.1 with her remix of Spektrum's 'Kinda New', Hannah is currently working on a second remix for the band to be released this year. The BATTY BASS imprint, website and clothing range will be taking the Batty Bass gospel to the masses, due to launch later in the year. In the meantime converts are already clamoring for the Hannah Holland podcasts, released monthly, which can be downloaded on itunes.

Hannah started her "groundbreaking" residency at weekly cult electro night Trailer Trash four years ago, which went onto to become one of London's "most respected underground night" (DJ Mag.)

Trailer Trash have hosted a series of infamous raves in venues such as a medieval prison, an former transvestite brothel, a boat chugging up the Thames and a disused Quick-Fit garage, as well as its weekly packed to the rafters night in the heart of Shoreditch.

Hannah is also a regular fixture at Bugged Out!, and is just as likely to be caught playing at Fabric as she is in some hidden away warehouse in the East End. She has enjoyed sharing the bill with artists such as Claude Vonstroke, Sinden, Damian Lazarus, 2Many DJs and Ivan Smagghe.

As well as many more UK and worldwide gigs, Hannah continues to work on material in the studio for releases in 2008. Plus expect more mayhem from her own 'Bastard Batty Bass' parties and the start of her new label Batty Bass records.

"Hannah Holland flips the nu-rave sound that's emerging and some very filthy booty bass tuneage. Together, they lay down a heady concoction of dance music's finest sounds" (Mixmag).
