CHAD JACKSON (former DMC World Champion, UK)
Chad Jackson started behind the decks before it was even trendy to be a DJ, & today can be credited as one of the people who popularised the art of DJ Mixing & remixing around the world. He was one of the first ever globally-known superstar DJs.
Back in the late 80s, a flyer with his name on it meant queues outside clubs like Legends in Manchester & the infamous Wigan Pier. His regular mixes on Manchester’s Piccadilly/Key 103 radio station had the whole of the North West of Britain with their fingers on the tape-deck 'record' button.
This soon led to Chad being head-hunted by Manchester’s legendary Hacienda club, who asked Chad to become resident & hence one of the architects of the scene that followed, & while at the Hacienda he started producing remixes of Grace Jones, Prince, Public Enemy, Deelite & Fatboy Slim exclusively for use on the legendary DMC DJ-only collections.
In 1987 he proved his mixing abilities by becoming the Technics/DMC World DJ Mixing Champion at the Royal Albert Hall in London, having secured the UK title a year before. This success led to him being one of the first DJs to undertake a world tour, including stop-offs in New York (to become the first European competitor in the Battle For World Supremacy at New York’s New Music Seminar), Russia, Japan, Brazil, & the Cannes Film Festival!
By 1990 Chad’s focus had turned to studio production, with the creation of his Inner World Audio recording studio – in which numerous productions & remixes took place for the likes of De La Soul, Norman Cook’s Beats International, Run DMC, and Mantronix.
His first solo work followed & Chad Jackson’s ’Hear The Drummer Get Wicked’ went straight to the top of charts around the world, No.1 in the UK Dance Charts, No.2 in the UK National Chart.
Recent original production projects include ‘Energise’ on Fabric Live – Plump DJs, ‘Do You Do Voodoo’ on Audio Therapy and ‘Get Your Boogie On’ with Cut La Roc’s Rocstar label, & ‘Nova Symphony’ by Feedback (No.1 Update Buzz Chart)
He is currently producing a new project, Group Therapy, with old friend DJ Dave Seaman. The first two releases ‘My Own Worst Enemy’ & ‘Faith Again’ received widespread DJ acclaim & heavy chart action. 2005 saw a No.1 Music Week Club Chart from Dave & Chad (under the Brothers In Rhythm guise), for a remix of Tears For Fears single ‘Closest Thing To Heaven’.

Alex (a.k.a. McQUEEN) began DJing ten years ago and for much of the last decade has spent his time running parties, and DJing around the UK and abroad, including for the last eight years his residency at the legendary UK clubnight, 'Technique', that he began with friends in 2001.
Playing across the spectrum of underground dance music, taking in house, breaks, techno, electro and anything else he likes, Alex's wealth of experience means he's able to rock it wherever he goes.
More recently alex has moved into production, being signed by UK label Edit Records within 12 months of starting, and his tracks being met with immediate success. His first two singles have received numerous plays on Radio One and Kiss FM, as well getting an airing at Bestival 2008, and he has more scheduled for release in 2009.
In November 2008 Alex was asked by Annie Nightingale to do a 30 minute mix for her Radio One show, which you can listen to here http://www.zshare.net/audio/5145012329cc7dd9/. With 27 old and new favourites from across the board chopped up and crammed into half an hour, it gives you an idea of some of the kinds of things you're likely to hear from him in his exciting DJ sets.
