Anti-Pop Consortium (ZDA) – eksperimenatalni hip hip koncert, Stekli psi (SLO) – alter hip hop koncert.
ANTI-POP CONSORTIUM so alternativna hip hop skupina, ustanovljena leta 1997, ko so se Beans, High Priest, M. Sayyid in producent Earl Blaize spoznali v “poetry slumu” v New Yorku.

Antipop Consortium are an alternative hip hop group. The group formed in 1997, when Beans, High Priest, M. Sayyid and producer Earl Blaize met at a poetry slam in New York City. They are notable for their stream-of-consciousness lyrics and musical references to contemporary composition methods. They released several tape singles and two albums primarily on Dan the Automator's experimental hip-hop label 75 Ark before being signed by Warp Records in 2000. Their releases were met with mixed reviews from the mainstream music and underground hip-hop press alike, although they are noted for their inventiveness and the experimental electronic productions contributed by all members. They were frequently compared to other rappers with unorthodox lyrics, such as Kool Keith, MF Doom and Aesop Rock. In 2001, they opened for Radiohead during the European leg of their Amnesiac tour and subsequently toured with DJ Shadow.

Ravno ta žanrska pestrost instrumentalistov in odprte glave obeh raperjev so zagotovilo za preko-potrebno originalnost v morju žanrske raznolikosti hiphop podlag.
V novo leto so Stekli psi štartali konkretno, saj je konec januarja izšel pri domaèi založbi God Bless This Mess records njihov dolgo prièakovani prvenec »Koga briga!«.
Raperska jezikovna bariera je presežena z neverjetnim tokom, brezkompromisno aktivistièno držo z angažiranimi teksti o politiènih igricah v kapitalizmu, pripadnosti okolju in regiji in o zagovarjanju izvornih postulatov hip-hopa brez blink-blik verižic in ostalih bedarij. To so glavne teme ob nagruvanih-heavy-bas-rhodes glasbenih podlagah.
If you were looking for the ideal rapping fivesome from Prekmurje, the easiest choice would be the Murska Sobota quintet Stekli psi [Rabid Dogs]. For the last three years, this super-collective has been causing a storm across north-eastern Slovenia, and reigns unchallenged over what is still a Prekmurje rapper scene of modest numbers.
Stekli psi is the brainchild of two MCs, Dule and Pape, who staged in the old MIKK premises thematic workshops/DJ-evenings of “Hip Hop Practices”, also taking part in endless jam sessions. It was in fact the jam sessions and constant getting together at MIKK that led to the expansion of the duet into an organic collective of “Drum, bass and guitar”, which replaced the pre-recorded beats with authority. The instruments were in fact added by people for whom rap was in no way their primary spiritual nourishment. These are people who have come from metal, noise rock, post rock and garage rock. Precisely this diversity of genres in the instrumentalists and the open minds of the two rappers have guaranteed ultra-necessary originality in a sea of genre diversity on the hip hop foundation.
Stekli psi made a good start to the new year, bringing out at the end of January their long-awaited debut album Koga briga! [Who Cares!] on the local label God Bless This Mess records. The album was laid down last year in the premises of the Ambasada in Beltinci, in a practice room, with Pluega acting as producer.
The rapper language barrier is overcome with an unbelievable flow, an uncompromisingly activist stance with socially committed lyrics about political games in capitalism, a sense of belonging to the environment and region and advocating the original ideas of hip hop without bling-bling medallions and other nonsense. These are the main themes, accompanied by in-the-groove heavy bass-Rhodes sounds.
