MISS JOOLS
Miss Jools has been DJing just over 10 years. In this time she has steadily built up her musical knowledge and technical experience, which has gained her the credibility of being one of the leading female DJs within the UK scene.
Having moved to London in 1994 from the Southwest, she started a twice-weekly live broadcast show on Girls FM, London’s former pirate radio station. It was here she experimented and adapted her musical style, which now rocks and shakes the dancefloors of clubland.
For the past 7 years, she has been a resident for the prestigious promotion ‘Milk‘n’2 Sugars’, which is held monthly @The End. Here, she maintains a high level of music quality and plays alongside guests DJ’s such as DJ Spiller, Sandy Rivera, Marshall Jefferson and Harry Choo Choo Romero to name a few. In addition to this, she manages to maintain her own guest slots in and around the capital playing at some of the biggest clubs in the UK and globally. Miss Jools is also resident for top London designer ‘Alexander Campbell’ and can be found spinning at all of his Fashion Shows. She has also just started another residency this year @AKA in London for the Italian promotion, New Opera.
In February 98, Miss Jools started touring with ‘The Gift from the Gods’, a collaboration of four girl DJs which took clubland by storm. This was highly reviewed and regarded tour which was covered by all music press and even main stream press such as ‘Company’ and ‘B’ magazine.
Miss Jools has guested on countless radio shows including Radio 1 on Danny Ramplings ‘Love Groove Show’, on Kiss FM with Bobbi & Steve and Roger Sanchez’s show ‘Release Yourself’. Danny Rampling being a big fan of Jool’s music, booked her at the launch of his new night ‘London Calling’ @Turnmills with Boris Dlugosch and Benji Candelario. Jools also works in one of London’s most respected record shops, ‘Blackmarket’ which means she is always on the crest of what’s hot at the moment in the dance scene. She has already toured Australia, Singapore, Spain, Czechoslovakia, Greece, Portugal, Italy and Croatia and in November 2000 toured the US. Jools looks sure to strengthen her position as one of the most sought after female DJ’s on the circuit. She possesses the ability to work the crowd with a magical funky underground set, and has technical skills second to none. With numerous studio projects in the pipeline, Jools is destined for bigger things. Watch this space!!

Residing in a city known mor for motorsports than music, Adam Jay has proben himself to be a prominent figure in the world of techno through musical output alone.
Classically trained since childhood, his influences span styles of music from around the world. His first output was shared between jazz and funk as an aspiring Clarinetist and Bassist. His passion for having complete control of both the rythm section and the lead section lead Adam away from traditional bands and ensembles but towards electronic music production.
Djing at the age of 16 in 1997, Adam's skilles as a performer were quickly developed. Performing at the historic East Town Theatre (in its hay-day hosting the likes of Hendrix, Joplin and James Brown) in Detroit on his 18th birthday marked the true beginning of an illustrious career as a DJ. Live Pa´s naturally followed with the request of a live performance alsongside Marco Carola and Funk D'Void in 2001.
In the last 2 years Adam has taken the global techno scene by the throat with continuous output on the most respected labels worldwide. His releases on the renowned Primate and Primevil labels are caned on a regular basis by such techno heavyweights as Carl Cox and Adam Beyer. Known amongst the global touring circuit as one of the essential live pa acts to hear, his touring schedule had him everywhere from Australia to Brazil to Germany, Belgium, and Austria in 2003. 2004 will see further extensive live and dj touring, as well as 12" EP's on Ben Sims' signature label Theory Recordings, Pornographic Recordings, Slobodan's new Goathead label, and another full length 2x12"/CD on Adam's own Chromagnon Recordings.
