Elyksir[DJ From Yucatan | Trance Galactica | www.elyksir.net - Slovenia]
Elyksir started clubbing when he was 18, going to some techno and house parties, but didn’t really enjoy the music that was played, because it was lacking something- the magical spark of driving emotions. At that time he came across some livesets of Paul Oakenfold and Paul van Dyk and was instantly hooked to the sound they were playing. Later on he discovered Dutch Trance sound which was getting bigger and bigger with Tiësto and Ferry Corsten at the forefront of it. Beautiful melodies, uplifting beats and mesmerizing vocals were the main reasons why he loved that style so much and is still very keen on it. He missed that kind of music on Slovenian parties, so he decided to start playing it. The real beginning of ‘career’ came, when he came partying to his local club Heaven, where two guys were playing some crazy hard trance. He introduced himself to them- they were called DJ Mic-E and DJ Etnic and together they were forming 'Analogica'- a group for promotion of trance music! They became really good friends and few months later he was invited to join Analogica and accepted the invitation without hesitation. So his first real gig came in January 2002 in Club Heaven. In the past years he had the privilege to play at almost every Slovenian club, which supports trance & progressive music and also played in UK and Switzerland. In 2004 he became the resident DJ for most popular Slovenian Trance clubnight called 'TranceGalactica' which hosted some of the most prominent names in Trance music scene. DJs he played alongside include: Ferry Corsten, Misja Helsloot, Matthew Dekay, Shane54, Ben Lost, Andy Bagguley, Solid Slide, Tsuyoshi Suzuki and many others.
DJ Transformer started DJing in 1995. Through the years 95-98 he became resident of the famous clubs P1 and A2 Südpol in Vienna. With his hit "The latin Rhythm" he got attention in Austria and in Germany. His most famous track probably is Ecstasy, which got a club-hit in Austria, Germany and in Switzerland. Ecstasy reached position 2 in the IMC-Charts and position 3 in the djshop.de Sale-Charts. Ecstasy was also released on many compilations like "DJ-Meeting 2002" or Goliath 10. The single Brainshaker & Agressive are also big clubhits which were played by almost every Austrian DJ. His big success came with the compilaion "Trance ClassX" compiled by DJ Transformer, which is the only Trance-compilation made in Austria!
DJ Mic-E[Analogica Productions | www.djmic-e.com - Slovenia]
In 1997 Mic-E started to play dance music on a regular basis in a local pub in Postojna, his hometown. Thourgh his days and nights behind the turntables, he fell in love with the harder side of dance music, at that time called progressice. His first release came in 2002, on Audiostatus Records, Italy. "Infinity" and "This Place is rockin'" had some good reactions, which have motivated Mic-E to pursue this course. Soon after he met Sam Punk, and with his support, Mic-E's new release came on German's hard dance label ECG Records. In 2003 "I have a dream" was released. It got great reactions and got on compilations like Hardbeatz and DJ Networx. Mic-E also proved to be a good remixer, as he remixed "Bazzface - This Generation" for Hardnation Records and "Sam Punk pres. Wheels Of Steel - Terroristz of bass" for Sam's new label Steel Records.
