ABOUT EXIT:

EXIT invite you on a magical mystery tour of the Petrovaradin Fortress, where you will experience a diverse range of music and cultures, that is enhanced by the cheap drinks and accommodation, amazing atmosphere and location and the warm and welcoming Serbian people.  What more could you ask for!?!

From its humble beginnings as a student initiated project, EXIT has become the biggest music and cultural event in southeast Europe. Now in its 7^th year the festival is a communal gathering of young people from all over Europe who come together over the 4-day extravaganza to celebrate freedom, change, peace and positivity. It’s an opportunity to exchange energy and ideas, to build relationships, and above all else to party long and hard with thousands of like minded people.

HISTORIC FORTRESS LOCATION:

EXIT takes place in the historic Petrovaradin Fortress, which is built high on the banks of the River Danube and offers stunning views over the city of Novi Sad.  The ancient fortress site was originally occupied by the Romans, and re-built by the Austro Hungarian Empire to defend against the Turks in the 17^th Century.  

The Fortress site houses 18 performance arenas within the 6km sq castle complex, with the dance arena being regarded by many as the best in Europe.  This is truly an amazing venue that you won’t find anywhere else in the world and the magical atmosphere is felt by performers and festival goers alike.

EXIT LINE UPS:

EXIT has always attracted the finest international talent and is renowned for it’s diverse and adventurous line ups.  Approximately 600 performances will take place over the 4 day event, with a broad genre booking policy headlined by some of the biggest live acts in popular music.  Artists who have already performed at Exit include; Billy Idol, Franz Ferdinand,  Fatboy Slim, Morrissey, Massive Attack, Scissor Sisters, Underworld, White Stripes.  Expect more of the same this year with the Beastie Boys, Basement Jaxx and Robert Plant being the first acts to be announced.  Program to be formally announced in April.

EXIT TICKET SALES:

EXIT have teamed up with eTickets.to to deliver the best value festival ticket this side of the moon.  E-ticket purchasers will also get fast entry to the event through their own entrance at the festival. The festival will be offering 40,000 4-day passes and 40,000 1 day passes
